Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)

How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)
Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!

Hi fellow fishies!
Can someone please explain what is “SUPPLEMENTARY allowance” in my payslip??? It is the highest in my entire payslip, more than basic salary. Basic is lets say ₹7 lac annually and supplementary bonus is ₹7 lac 40 thousand.
Can someone please explain why this exists in my paylslip, is it good or bad from tax perspective and shall I ask my HR to decrease it???
Please help asap.

And I DO have “friends” on my team. It’s just like 2 members. Just like in school, I don’t like everyone I meet! Stop trying to force it!

I’m with you. The worst part is leadership/ management doesn’t care and if allowed to be real, would be f**k-all about this stuff.
However, the current zeitgeist is ALL about corporate caring, so they have to slap on a smile and go overboard pretending to really champion it.
I’m with you. I’m not the bubbliest person on the planet and pretty jntroverted with people I don’t know. I manage a team of 11 people and they are an eclectic group of personalities. All amazing employees, but VERY different personalities. It’s awkward as all hell to try and joke around with everyone in the team, especially virtually. I’ve tried to break up into smaller meetings throughout the week to get more one on one, but some people are just difficult to converse with no matter how hard you try. I feel you. I want everyone to like working together but forcing “fun” never works.
Wait, management criticized you for not knowing people’s personal lives? Like in your review?
That’s bizarre and toxic. Not going to put you on the spot but I would love to know where you work so I can never work there. Yeesh.
