Six Asian women shot in atl, an 80+ yr old woman set on fire in nyc, an elderly Asian woman shoved and killed in Manhattan (feb), a young woman assaulted in sf last week for “China virus” (according to the attacker/attempted rapist). Have had men spit on my face in the street and yell “China” at me in NY and SF in the past year and none of my white friends seem to realize it’s an issue. Trying to raise awareness but it’s exhausting.

I hope that they swabbed that plexiglass for droplets and then send it to a lab for Covid testing.

Looking for some advice on a couple of offers I have.

The first offer is for an Account Executive position at a smaller company with a base of $50k and another $20k in OTE.

The second offer is for a BDR position at a larger and faster growing company with a base of $60k and another $20k in OTE. Also some stock options but they aren’t public yet.

I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k.
