Hi everyone, Deloitte is asking me to sign a 18 months contractual bond in lieu of the joining bonus they are offering and a retention bonus payable after 12 months again with a 12 month bond, which effectively means a 24 month bond period. Hi, I attended L1, L2 and HR round on last Saturday. Hr said they are giving me C1 band and they can match my current fixed offer of 27lpa with fixed and variable pay. I asked for joining bonus. She will check for approval (my lwd 3rd June). It's been 2 working days now, there is no update from HR on offer letter. Should I reach out to Hr or wait till this week?

This is just a post to spread some positivity. You can do anything you set your mind to. I failed my first attempt at the bar, was a stealth layoff in my first yr at a V100 firm. I lateraled to a V50. There, my 4th year I billed 2.4K hours and somehow still got mixed reviews and docked on my bonus . I questioned my skills and abilities. My self confidence hit rock bottom. Lateraled to a V5 firm. Just got annual review. Proud to say that all 5 partners said I’m stellar and have partner potential.
