Was graciously given a heads up by a friend in management that I (& half the office) will be laid off. Aside from grabbing portfolio stuff, how should I prepare for my final day(s?) on this earth?

How would you answer the question "Why do you want to switch to data science?" during an interview?

I have a coworker who keeps spouting comparative odds and situations in regards to the safety of the vaccine. Such as: you're twice as likely to get hit by lightening than have blod clots from JJ. It's very annoying and I find it to be really inapprorpriate, maybe because it's pushy or just I find these comparative things to be a bit irrelevant. How does one handle something like that? Can you shut the person down without starting a spat?
