We usually have a night nurse watch our animals but we couldn't find anyone the other night to watch the animals so they were left alone at night. None of them were in critical condition and did not need any serious supervision, and everything went smoothly and we were able to get someone in really early so they weren't left alone too long. Have as anyone here ever dealt with coverage issues for the overnight?

Trigger: rare illness post birth

Just sharing that I was diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia 3 days after giving birth despite not having risk factors or preeclampsia in my pregnancy. Sharing as I had absolutely no idea about this illness.

Main things to do are check your BP everyday at least the first ten days after you give birth, and go to hospital if it's very high (over 160/110). If you get severe headache or stomach ache then also be vigilant.

Having an animal friend with cancer is not something easy. This year I have already had 24 animals that went to sleep in order to stop suffering. This is not easy for their families at all. It seems to me that the cancer stats in domestic animals are increasing, is this just me?
