Wearing my hair in an Afro to a video interview. My hair curls tightly so it will be medium sized. Not willing to wear a wig or straighten my hair. I will have on lipstick earrings nice jacket. But if my Afro is an issue, me being Black is likely to be an issue too. Agree?

I was interviewed by Accenture and after 4 rounds of interview I was told that I had passed and that they will be sending me the offer letter within 2 days. They also asked me to send them my last 3 payslips which I did. But It's been more than 15 days now, I haven't received any letter, call, mail or anything.

Had a really rough few weeks, just started a new project while in quarantine and it’s a crazy disorganized one with many late nights. I don’t feel like I’m meeting the team’s expectations even though I am trying my hardest. I’ve had discussions with leadership who have said “we hear you” but nothing has changed. I don’t have time to look for a different job or to interview. I live alone and I just don’t see a way out of this.

I’m looking to switch from a standard marketing agency to PR. Are salaries for an AE/SAE role the same for both fields? I’m in NY/NJ area

I hate my job. Absolutely despise it. Wake up/go to sleep every day with a heavy dread for the future. Grind my teeth in my sleep. Gaining weight. Blood pressure spikes whenever my phone goes off. Becoming unable to hide my disdain for coworkers and clients on calls, emails, etc. Have a loving and supportive partner but feel like I can't relate to her at all because she enjoys her work. I don't want to go back to my post-graduation poverty but damn, at least I felt like I was a real person.

23 year old. First year in. Starting salary 75k in a HCOL city. Rent is 1300 and I try to save 1000 each month while another 1000 usually goes to my 401k. Currently have 11k in savings and 5000 in 401k. Might need to be liquid in the next two years is it better for me take out 500 from my 401k and put it in the stock market instead?
