Google gave a grand for home office anything
All these Accenture people saying nothing are forgetting about all that forced PTO every month 🙃
Enough forced time off with nowhere to go and limited notice, great conditions to woodwork yourself a new desk for days on end...
Agreed. But I will say our company’s stock price is still on the rise. Let’s be honest it’s all about the numbers.
Pre-selected monitor worth $230-270 depending on what coupons you use
Accenture did provide Child care support in the US. I reimbursed $500/week in childcare for 6 weeks for a total of $3,000.
McKinsey just gave 150
Do you know if EMEA or APAC offices got the same?
Around 1000USD for junior employees below L6 in a certain growth market country. One-time.
Really? Which country ?
Monitor and docking station from KPMG
Accenture San Francisco pays for my internet bill every month
She is but with all the money saved this year on perdiems and travel reimbursements the company couldn't possibly come up with what to do with the money...so we decided to say "fuck it"and told Julie to buy herself 5 new she sheds to store her collection of magic brooms to make room for more cringy politically motivated activities.
No money but before the office was shut down we were allowed to sign out a monitor to take home.
IBM... $0
Grant Thornton gave nothing except laptops to people who didn't have them and sent out small external monitors on a per-request basis.
Apparently they'll reimburse for office supplies like pens and post its but if you wanted to invest in or at least subsidize a desk or a chair that won't kill your posture, outta luck.
Desktop towers at the office
Shopify gives a grand for anything productivity related
Nothing
Nothing from JPMorgan
My firm gives $50 for home internet and $100 for phone. We were fully wfh before Covid so it was business as usual
For those not in a location with a consulting office, Huron typically provides a home setup kit of a monitor and docking station, if requested. For the COVID-19 situation pushing everyone to WFH, they've offered a $250 home office stipend for all.
LHH stated we would have a total stipend of up to $1000 but it was hidden from most employees and ultimately became a strongly discouraged and sensitive topic.
BCG UK: you can order a monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse through procurement, or if you've already bought your own, you can expense up to £150. No chair or anything, and those provisions were only after much resistance.
$500 for Deloitte plus well being subsidy that’s always been there
If we are returning from business school this year, can we get the WFH stipend?
Extra monitors (with approval) and free peripherals under $50 (headset, 🐭, keyboard, etc)
I think EY and Parthenon gave $250?
