Hi, did anybody ever experience wrong tax calculations by JPMC Payroll/tax team ? Or is there any specific month where they deduct more tax. Huge amount of tax deduction is done for Oct payout. From my CA’s calculation the amount deducted by JPMC team looks wrong. Anybody experienced this?

I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

Get on Fidelity, etc. look for the local short-term municipal bonds in your state. They’re tax free at the state and federal level.
Didn’t know this thank you. Info I was looking for.
What you doing with $500k of Tbills
Not the end of the world. It’s throwing off 5.5% at least.
I would look towards short term muni bonds to give yourself a tax advantage at the federal and state level. Just double check they are federal and state tax exempt otherwise Tbills would make the most sense but you’ll have to pay federal taxes on it. You’ll have to pay federal and state taxes for the CDs
Disadvantage? A lot of federal government bonds are tax exempt for state and local taxes so from that standpoint they are better than CDs.
Corporation > LLC >calculate tax on gain> write off by working with your with your Smart CPA lol.
CDs are FDIC-insured if treasury bonds being backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government doesn’t cut the mustard for you.
If US Treasury debt is no longer default-free, we've all got much bigger problems. With bank CDs, you're trading off some liquidity for a guaranteed yield.

Wish it was disposable but trying to figure out what to do with it.
