If you're exiting at the senior level there are tons of opportunities for upward mobility and many of them require a combination of public and industry experience, so it is often best to get out of public and start getting those years of industry experience

Any senior accountant job at any company from the smallest to Fortune 50. Assistant controller or fund manager at a small company. Financial analyst at companies that are not picky about the background of their people or who specifically want former accountants. There are consulting jobs and different LOS positions at all the other accounting firms. There are internal audit jobs.

Don't get me wrong, none of the jobs are fun, but they almost always provide better pay and better hours than public accounting audit staff and senior jobs.

I have joined Nagarro almost a year now as a senior architect. However, I see lot of issues here. The company is great so far as employee friendliness is concerned. It may be rated as the top most company in that regard and that is why attrition is well within control. However, there are issues:

1. Project Allocation - allocated to projects without fitment with the role or skills. No internal job portal

2. Lots of seniors in bench for long time

3. No way to give company feedback

A lot of my HPLC and LCMS experience is with already established methods. Any tips?

Hey all! I’m 30 years old. About to close on a house with a 5.75% fixed 30 yr mortgage. If you were me and your goal was to maximize your net worth by retirement, would you put a few thousand dollars extra into paying down the house faster or invest that extra money in the market? The 5.75% doesn’t feel that low but also not crazy high so I’m torn. Thoughts? 🙏
