Mid year promotions confirmed!
Can u help me with the in-hand amount please?

I applied to Pinterest and Amazon. I have interviews at both and it's looking positive. I'm a little worried I set the bar too low with my initial response for salary range expectations when I applied. Anyone ever told the recruiter afterwards a higher range and been successful? What might you say to adjust the range? Thoughts?

Scavenger hunt, people go look for stuff in their homes

We broke out into teams and did some trivia contests. For instance we flashed stills from a movie and the first team to guess right got a point, and so on.
Take a screenshot of your MD and use them as your background.
Another group had set up a simple form to make a game of match the pet to the owner. They revealed the answers live in a Teams channel. In terms of "mandatory fun" it was a good low effort activity.

Who has time for the crap being posted here?

I guess P1 probably is able to manage his/her time more efficiently. Im just not sure who the hell has time to do these ridiculous virtual team building activities, hit their insane summer charge goal due to COVID, participate in administrative initiatives, get their volunteer time in virtually, and hit their CPE goal.
You can play jackbox online games. Lot of fun. jackbox.tv

Yes, this.
We did a couple of fun activities lately over the virtual connects. For instance Zoomed In game (zoomed pictures of objects would be displayed and participants have to identify what it is) was one of it. To name a few more - we had Guess the Gibberish game and it was super fun. Also, identifying the silhouette, logos is a good game.. For cinephiles, there are many options of related games. Also, deciphering the words, phrases or proverbs by interpreting the image is an interesting game.
Hope this helps!

Consultant bingo or wfh bingo are usually pretty funny. Or what the meme (you put a meme then everyone submits a caption and the funniest one wins)
To name out a few with respect to the requirement in question, there are a few options. Like 2 truths and 1 lie. Statement to be shown and told if it's a lie or truth and the team members need to identify who it is related to..
A collage/video of team's leisure activities can be shown as an opener and to set the environment 😀
Crowdpurr.com is a really good platform for virtual trivia. There’s a free version but we bought the $50/month subscription since we’re not spending money otherwise.
Skribbl.io is like virtual Pictionary and is really fun.
We also did “Guess who - baby edition” where everyone sent in a baby pic and I compiled it into a PP. We broke out into teams of 4-5 to guess.
Virtual Pictionary. High school photo swap. Words with friends challenges. Online get to know you quizzes. Our team makes us do these every Friday.
We did a live “name that tune” and it was great. We also did 2 truths and a lie. You can do a face costume contest or crazy hats.
Thanks everyone!
