At two years total you're in pretty good shape. The key is to not price yourself out of analyst roles, which for me started happening in my S2 year (3 raises). FP&A / Valuation are very, very doable... corporate finance will be harder. But if you're looking to get out of accounting I'd say year two is the best time to do it. I wouldn't wait another busy season or you'll need an associate level salary to not take a pay cut on the switch... and you won't be qualified for that without an MBA.
Literally everyone is replaceable
2 years of senior experience or two years of total PA experience?
Sorry - did you pass level III? Very surprised you're having difficulty moving towards finance if so.
Passed Level II. Level III candidate for June 2018
Totally agreed on what pwc1 said. 2 year is the best time to shot for analyst. Later you will just look for associate and they typically look for someone with MBA or finance background. BVal should not be hard as well. Unless you need sponsorship....(which happened to one of my friends. Same background but more experienced)
Try get into IB
Total.. just not sure if waiting it out any longer is gonna help with fp&a, corporate finance, or valuation roles
