Logistics means different things to different people and industries. As someone who works in the industry, you need to have an effective problem-solving skills. You need to be able to adapt too your working environment and work under pressure.

Organization! You are dealing with so many different things at once. Promptness matters. You have to make sure you have all of your ducks in a row for this job.

just researching things on your own such as data analysis, supply chain management, learning technology, project management, and international trade. All of those things are super important in this industry!

How to make use of the latest technology to do more efficient work. Never be a stranger to advancements in the field. It can help immensely.

Well, I think it really depends on your interests and passion. You can start from there.

Basic coding. Most of the roles here are dependent on computers. It would be great if employees are equipped with coding and programming skills.

Hmm. How about learning a new language? It might come in handy in the future.

Project management skills. These are highly desirable tools.

Social media and digital marketing. You need to know how social media and digital marketing work if you want to compete in the job market. Good luck!

I’ve been in the industry for 23+ years, 16+ of those spent as a Producing Branch Manager. I hold S7, S63, S66, S24 and I’ve completed the education for the CFP (need to pass the exam). I excel in relationship building and providing exceptional service. I’ve only been on the full-service side for the past 2 years and my book of managed money is about $10M, with another $10M+ being self-directed by clients. I’d love to find an RIA job, what type of role would be suggested?

I should go study abroad this month, but I am extremely anxious, I’m not excited about my course and overall not ready. Should I take a break and go next year or just do it? I did not think through the course I picked and it is new to the university so I would be in the very first batch. It’s in data science which I know nothing about and don’t even know if I’ll enjoy it. I’m so stressed about what the course will be like and what my opportunities would look like.

I would like some advice on what path to take after graduating as an electrical engineer, like what job titles are good to have as a stepping stone to advance my career, Please feel free to advise based on your experiences. Also any future certification recommendations will be really helpful.
