Two questions:
How would you ask about the flexibility of the location of a role? I'm interviewing for a role on the west coast, but I do have plans in future to move back east at some point - I currently work at a company that allows me to work from either. How would you approach this and would you do it in the interview or once you reach the offer stage?
How can you tell what level a job is at Amazon Web Services? I'm feeling a little in the dark as to what my expectations can be.
PwC What’s the better offer? I’m currently an associate at Mercer in Seattle making 115k with a 10% target, but considering an offer in NYC at PWC as senior associate at 140k with a 15%ish target. Also been at current company for only 9 months. Is it worth it to make that transition so early?
I applied to Pinterest and Amazon. I have interviews at both and it's looking positive. I'm a little worried I set the bar too low with my initial response for salary range expectations when I applied. Anyone ever told the recruiter afterwards a higher range and been successful? What might you say to adjust the range? Thoughts?

I negotiated not moving for a job that was high travel. I knew I couldn’t move so I had to make my peace that the job might not work out by saying this.
All of the people who did get forced to move hated that I didn’t have to move. However I am glad I didn’t move as the job collapsed about 2 years later and I would have been stuck in a town with few opportunities
It helped that I was willing to give in other ways (I.e. traveling more). Also, it helped to know who could make the call. The first two times they offered the job with moving I declined. I ended up talking to the senior person and he was fine with the arrangement
I didn’t negotiate this for my current role but for a prior role I made sure time off was part of the discussion as some companies base annual days on seniority with the brand

Sounds like a fit mismatch! Congrats on confidently turning it down, and hope you've found your opportunity!
I have a close friend who negotiated to work from anywhere in the world after spending 1 year working for the company in New York. He plans to move to Paris this year and Tokyo next year. Genius.
What company is this?!
Total Comp = base + bonus. I pit two competitors against each other and each firm upped the total compensation package offered.
Did you actually have an offer from a competitor or did you bluff?
