👋def better than big 4 and MBB in supply chain
Kearney is a great option for procurement, product development, and supply chain/operations.
Aera technology for innovation in supply chain. Great SF « start up » if you want my opinion. They developed a tool in the « excellence in execution » basically touching every part on how to execute your supply chain through AI and the likes.
You can also look into OMP, much more focused on the planning space (from IBP to detailed scheduling).
Last but not least if you’re interested in network design you can check Llamasoft, as they offer the tool and the professional services in that space.
Fortna and Tompkins are the top firms in distribution
Kinaxis relative to software/supply chain analysis
Areas like procurement and planning/forecasting have some firms that specialize in the space and when you get into actual manufacturing, the companies setting up and installing production equipment and software tend to be the strongest
Oh ok, Fortna I have heard about. But Tompkins? What about some boutique ones in Atlanta area like Chainalytics?
Tompkins is Fortnas largest competitor playing in same space.
Chanalytics plays in the space but aren’t at that level of depth or technology capabilities yet and aren’t as well versed in ERP systems, which tends to be a dependency. I’ve worked with their CEO previously and they have some solid people.
In supply chain, technology and operations can’t and shouldn’t be separated
Aside from our practice, I've heard really good things about Kearney, Effcio, GEP, and insight Sourcing partners
Fortna does a lot of automation work. Not a bad place to be!
