Toronto ad fish 🤠 I’ve spent most of my career working as a copywriter in London (6 years here, 2 years Toronto) and the market is pretty different here. I’m planning on moving back home but wondered….how do you find work in Toronto? Agencies barely post openings, is the recruiter scene strong? Is it mostly who you know?

I’m in between projects. I have been for a while now. So if anyone is looking for a freelance copy and u/x writer, put me in coach! I’m available to work.
Check out my portfolio and let me know if we’re a good profit match.

Estimated vs Actuals, what I call EvA in terms of %- complete of the below are unquestionably the most valuable KPIs I employ to measure project progress from a PM standpoint
- Tasks
(based on PM & discipline leads consensus)
- Hours
- Fee
NOTE: These measures move in the same direction but aren't the same because each task does not have an equal weight and the relationship between hours & fee vary based on the cost/billable rate of different individuals.
If the team isn’t client-facing, just an internal team, therefore no billable hours and no time-tracking…can you only really track effort or % of completion?
Budget, timeline, and deliverables. How are you tracking to all three at the same time? What are the risks when one is off? How can you prove out success at each milestone, with a baseline, of each of those through the lifecycle?
