Hi everyone! I have a few questions on submitting the visa appointment fee expense for reimbursement in DTE: Can we submit an expense for our spouse’s visa appointment (they’re on H4)? I am from India and in order to pay the visa fee I used the NEFT option to pay but the Indian bank account my brother’s. What receipt will be accepted in DTE? I don’t think there’s any receipt that we received. It was just my brother initiated the transfer from his Deloitte" class="linkified" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" >account.Deloitte

Some of my colleagues have been relocated to other regions, e.g. Singapore
Have to try and see if they will relocate you. Choose somewhere nice like HK, London, Singapore etc.
No relocation - we are all separate entities. They might let other locations know you are looking but there's no guarantee because it's not up to the US firm.
None at papa D, they put you in touch with other member firms... but your employment is rescinded
EY1- Mind sharing more details - Firm's process or guidelines?
I know a few people who didn't. They asked US partners to connect them to partner entities in other countries then came back on an L1 or found better opportunities in other places.
I've been transferred in a global mobility assignment to a commonwealth country. Basically all the successful cases I've seen so far are due to a US partner knowing someone in the target country and putting in a good word. The global mobility policies and systems are there, but chances of getting transferred without a partner connections are close to zero.
My advice is: careful what you wish for. A lot of what you read/hear about some countries is just propaganda. PwC firms globally (out of the US) don't pay very well, and given market size, you're likely going to be staffed in much shittier projects with tighter budgets and supervised by people with little to none subject matter expertise.
I think EY will do a best-faith effort to connect you with partners in other countries, and from a colleague who's done it, she made it sound as if it was really easy and effortless. Bear in mind she had been at the firm for 3 years and performing well as a staff. However, i didn't go through this myself so I don't know what the formal policies are.
