If i got selected I am planning to move with my family.
Will there be any savings and what would be cost of living for a 3 member family there.

I worked there before, during, and after the merger. It was a cluster. No culture whatsoever, it felt like working in an airport lounge. They think a big idea is a programmatic banner ad. Extremely top heavy with more upper level hires every day, while they continue to fire more and more people. Losing clients left and right, I’m actually not sure what they have anymore. TLDR: a black hole of blind leadership and no creative soul.
This is a true and accurate assessment.
Taras Wayner is joining as CCO and I like him.
I liked his welcome email, where he said that we must ‘lead the change.’ Never heard that expression before.
A lot of white people. No culture, no diversity. Old school mentality, no innovation.
We did an rfp they participated in and from the perspective of a potential client I liked them. Thought they were old school and professional. They didn’t act like they invented “disruptive” content or “revolutionizing cultural goopity gop”. Everyone wasn’t 12 with a blazer and a pair of Jordan’s. They weren’t predicting the future. It was straight forward. Which was just refreshing. In the end we just went with the guys in the cool sneakers.
Moral of the story: ASOS and KITH are your friends. 🙃
They seem to be behind when it comes to digital.
I think it depends on the office
Taras Wayner is an amazing CCO/creative lead, smart as hell, gives intuitive and actionable feedback, truly listens to and respects his creatives and larger team. I was fortunate to work for him at Saatchi for a year. So if he’s there I’d take that as a good omen! Good luck to you!🍀
Ask Nick Law.
Isn’t digital what they do?
Uh no really behind
I would never trust that place—whatever they call themselves now—after what JWT NY did to the Chicago office.
What did they do?
Knew someone in the NYC office. Sounds like it hemoraged money and then it became chaos after the merger. There were semi recent layoffs. Keep in mind, this sounds like every agency right now.
But, I once remote freelanced for them. Made great money for 4 hours of work.
Old school advertising. 🦖
I work there. 100% times better than my previous job in-house.. any specific questions?
I’m in media actually
I was at small boutique creative my whole career and have been really pleasantly surprised since joining the team in LA. Cannot speak for other offices, but I really like my experience/leadership/team here.
I think there's a few strong offices, but not sure NY is one of them. I think it's mostly Seattle and Toronto for North America. Makes sense, a lot of tech companies...
In NYC? What brands?
In terms of working there? Not just NYC, any of the offices. What’s the culture like in your experience?
