Have my closing interview with Accenture next week. So far the Director and MD I have met with have both liked me and the recruiter has said that they have both given me a thumbs up and that the upcoming closing interview with the MD is just a conversation. From my research I’ve also read that it’s just a sanity check to make sure I’m not a nutcase. Of course anything can happen, but I’m expecting an offer. (Cont)

My wife and i find that the Mk. 1 "eyeball," used in conjunction with both the Mk. 1 "brain" memory feature and this wonderful device called a "clock" to be useful in situations like this. In all seriousness though, just keep it simple, set a schedule, and stick to it. X hour approaches - device on. Y time passes - device off. Not everything needs an app; just self-discipline to set the right example for your kids to follow.
Agree, with this approach of setting a routine and it works. Not proud but our little one knows she gets screen time when mom and dad have to get their dinner. Just concerned about the screen size and her posture.
We use iPad for our 2.5 yo. Didn’t want him to focus on the tiny phone screen so end up buying that.
The alarm app and iOS actually does the trick. You can have the alarm to go off and it will close the phone/tablet. Our 2.5 yo knows he needs to set the alarm before he starts watching it like 15 mins, 20 mins etc.
We try to empower them - set timers on Alexa, and encourage them to turn electronics off when the timer goes off. It gives them the feeling that they own it themselves. Doesn’t work half the time but it’s a WIP :)
We got a Fire tablet at age 4
My 10 and 5 got tablets and I use google family to set up screen time.
My almost 2 watch video from mummy’s phone but rarely stays more than 10 min, he prefers the big tv.
We have some old iPad minis that the kids use, but their screen time is extremely limited.
ipad is great
