1st yr at a nyc v50 firm doing general transactional work. I know the lateral market for transactional lawyers is hot but not as hot for juniors. I just want a change of scenery because my current firm is bleeding good associates / not giving great training imo / and just seems small. Would lateralling this early feasible? Would it look bad on my resume?

Are there any mothers here who voluntarily gave primary custody to the kids father? I love my children fiercely but tbh I don’t think I’m cut out to be a single parent. Just received my first offer today for an SDR role and I’m trying to grind to the top of these tech sales positions. I’m in Atlanta and my OTE is 60,000. Where should I be looking to get near the 6 figure range starting out? I graduated from the University of Michigan Business school and I have two years 2 tech experience, if that helps. Thank you!

Looking for some advice on a couple of offers I have.

The first offer is for an Account Executive position at a smaller company with a base of $50k and another $20k in OTE.

The second offer is for a BDR position at a larger and faster growing company with a base of $60k and another $20k in OTE. Also some stock options but they aren’t public yet.

I have 2 YOE as a BDR and think I could succeed in either position. Both have hybrid work set ups. Any thoughts or advice is appreciated! Thanks.

Not a sales based question but have a second interview for TierPoint Inc. they are an IT company and this is a manager of operations role. Their clients have some big names but I work for a global company that’s massive.
