Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.

Ps: If you're a woman, anything works.
If you're a man, don't even think about wearing a short sleeve shirt. Ever!
Ha. I think I’ve only worn t-shirts and chucks...maybe a hoodie. Never had a problem
If you're in media rather than creative, then you need to do business casual. We can't get away with jeans or tshirts like they can.
Nice shoes. Jeans. Button up.
Depends on the weather, but I default to long sleeve
Black t shirt, black pants, cool shoes
...Cadillac...the girls a time bombbbb
I’m a women, I usually shoot for business casual. Typically black pants and a nice blouse or a comfortable dress. I wear to an interview what I might wear if I was meeting a client.
Not a suit
Ok ok ok I stand corrected 😉
Non-denim pants, more put-together top than normal (aka not a T-shirt), throw on a blazer if it’s cold. Ankle boots or flat shoes depending on weather. Regardless of what I wear I try to aim for a ‘more done up version of my everyday personality’
My go to interview attire is nice sneakers, jeans, and a blazer over a “fun” t-shirt. On my first interview out of portfolio school I went traditional with a tie and the whole deal. It felt wrong and I adjusted accordingly 😉
Nah, I’m good.
Silk and Linen
Black tee, black jeans, black sneakers, black leather jacket. White sneakers, if you’re feeling daring.
Black, head to toe.
I'm a woman. black from head to shin. bright trainers/sneakers to add some pop.
I’m a woman. I wear a black dress, some sort of jacket (not a black blazer - a colored/patterned jacket but nothing too crazy), black tights, heeled booties. I’ve worn this exact combination for my last three interviews.
The week of Halloween or a normal week?
