I love my community and want to be a part of making it a better place to live. I've seen a lot of issues here over the years, and I want to be a part of the solution. This job isn't always easy, but I have wanted to do it for a long time, and I feel thankful for the opportunity to serve my community.
I wanted to make a positive impact in my community. What about you?
Ultimately it was my father but i also always had a love for helping others!
I cherish the notion of having to undergo terrible things so others don't have to. I enjoy taking the brunt of society's tragedies and reality so that others can go to sleep without having such issues on their minds.
I wanted to serve. I grew up surrounded by cops because my father was a cop. I intended to carry out a noble and honorable deed. I was born with a desire to help others. Also, I'm an adrenaline junkie.
I have a lot of energy, so I couldn't stand to be idle all day. I essentially need a work that requires me to be active and out and about for the majority of the day.
I want to go to work every day unsure of what will transpire. I want to make a shift in which I venture into the uncharted. I detest repetitive stuff like desk work.
I enjoy the feeling of solidarity, brotherhood, and friendship for life that many police officers experience. I like that people can see me and know they can come to me for help. I enjoy it when folks recognize me and feel a little bit safer.
Cliche, but I feel it's universal in law enforcement to want to help people. To be there for people when they need you most is fulfilling.
I have always looked up to my dad and wanted to be like him. He would show me cool things at the academy that he used to direct and the funny, sometimes fear-inducing, stories from his days on patrol and SWAT. That really sparked the idea of becoming an officer in my mind.
