Hi, I like the mobility of the tool. It doesn’t box and has a dexterity that I haven’t seen in other tools. The IEQ report that we use in incredible! It’s comprehensive and covers all elements that I think are relevant in driving performance. We are then able to isolate those elements and streamline development plans to address actual needs.

I specialize in nonprofit tax and I’m trying to increase my knowledge in my complex or unusual nonprofits tax issues since I don’t get the exposure that much at work (international activities, private benefit, UBI, etc.). Does anyone have any books or CPEs that they recommend? Or courses that they took that went into detail on this? Most of what I find is more about NFP management skills then the more technical side of it.

Hi Ladies! I’m transitioning to a manager of a team I’ve been leading. There’s been a lot of turnover with the team and I feel like I’m having a hard time getting the team to see me more as an authoritative figure. For example, when I ask for volunteers on a simple task, no one replies. Should I just resort to assigning rather than asking? Also are there leadership books you suggest that I could read up on? Thank you!

I am due to take 2 weeks parental leave sometime in the next month and have an offer lined up. Is it better to tell the new place I would prefer to push my start date to take my leave and join two weeks after (accounting for 2 weeks of notice when I get back)? Would that be burning a bridge with current firm (taking leave and giving notice as soon as I am back)? I want to avoid losing 2 weeks of salary during that time if I can.
