When negotiating Salary, do you mention Glassdoor, Levels.fyi, or a separate source? Or neither?? Looking at a role I’m currently a candidate for and the discrepancy of pay between Glassdoor and Levels.fyi is absurd (IE Glassdoor average salary is almost 40K higher than Levels.fyi) Glassdoor also has more “data points”, for lack of a better term, than Levels.fyi for this role.
Thoughts??

Banks have really weird titles. What's their hierarchy like?
I see. I actually saw SM at deloitte went to citi as SVP.
I would say around 150K. Btw a VP in a bank is more like a SM in Big 4. While I don't know your expertise you should aim for like 150k. They are lowballing you.
Which Big4 is paying close to $200K for M?

I think top of the range is 160 base or so.
VP is SC/Manager. Most VPs don’t have reports, but you can have a lot more responsibility than the average SC
OP did you ended up going?
I am not even a manager and I get $120k...
VP is level 2 or 3 I think. Might be equivalent to a Senior Consultant.
Sounds low for NYC. What’s their title hierarchy?
What division/group?
What role?
At Citi now in GCB, VP is about the equivalent of Manager 1-2 at EY. I’d definitely ask for the high of that range
What is your designation and base at Citi? What kind of role are you in?
