I recently finished my Masters in Cyber Security and have a Bachelors in Software Development. As much as I love the technical aspect of my degrees, I think the happiest me would be in tech sales. I had found an opportunity at IBM for entry level sales starting in 2023 and was wondering if anyone had gone through this or the Summit program? Check glassdoor and shoot for a range slightly above the third quartile answer. The highest salaries on glassdoor are always way off so I wouldn’t trust them. But because of inflation and for your own good, shoot a little higher than the norm
60k base. Beware online estimates; a lot of them display total comp which includes incentives and bonuses. Its easy to overshoot on the application, but if you're fresh out of school they'll probably know what happened and still call you to interview and make a realistic offer.
You can also leave it blank and they tend to ask during the interview.
