What is the best firm for getting support/time to work on the CPA exam? (All firms not just big 4 welcome)

I’m an AE and make a fair amount of money, but I wouldn’t mind making a few extra bucks a month. I’m a little embarrassed to pick up a side job.. does/did anyone else pick up a side job at this level?

Is it a wise decision to move from big4 to WITCH companies or mid sized product companies like Arrow electronics, Emerson just for the sake of pay rise. I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using. Or that I'm qualified). But long-term, knowing account roles are so much more plentiful than brand planning in PR, I'm wondering if I should start thinking about account. Anyone here moved from strategy to account?

My firm’s IT (especially system saving and file locating function) is so bad 😐😞 and they keep doing updates no one asked them for just to mess with the stuff we already got a hang of without doing anything about the issues we actually need fixed. Anyone else in a similar boat? Do you bill the client for the time it takes to fix the IT issue (or IT inefficiency generally, like time taken to find a file in a convoluted system)? Or is that supposed to be our non-billable time?

Hello, I’m starting my 1L in August. I have 2 years of experience in supply chain management dealing from data analysis to procurement and vendor relationships. I see my law career in working in that intersection between law/compliance, supply chain management, and technology. Does anyone out here work on such field? Does it even exist?

I’m graduating in December, with a background in environmental economics and policy. Consulting didn’t work out this cycle. Made it to final rounds for Bain and Kearney but in the end didn’t get an offer. I want to recoup and try again, but I’m worried that once I’m out of undergrad the door will be closed to starting in consulting.

What can I do to make this happen? I have friends and connections at Bain and Kearney and the other firms as well, but not sure if it’s feasible now.
