Anyone with recent experience recruiting for Boston Consulting Group? Got in touch with a recruiter through referral, was directed to submit an application and already finished my pymetrics. Anyone know when I would be able to hear back and what the hiring timeline looks like? Recruiter suggested to get back in a few weeks but isn’t it too slow? McKinsey sent me an invite for 1st interview in a few days after they received my referral.

I’m not familiar with a Senior Consultant as an experienced hire. The only time I’ve seen that term used is for MBA hires into the Accenture Strategy group (not regular Management Consulting). I believe it corresponds to a level 8, which is normally titled as “Associate Manager.”
You might get more luck posting in the Accenture or Compensation bowls.
If MC, our levels are Analyst > Snr. Analyst > Consultant > Manager > Snr. Manager > MD. Salaries range based on experience and location.
I came in at 110k with 4 years of post grad school experience. I think tier 2 city.
