Hi Fishes I have been interviewing with Microsoft for the role of Product Manager done with 4 rounds.
I got a mail that I'm rejected
I reached out to the HR Team they mentioned, role is on hold along with many other roles
Anyone know how long this freeze is going to be ? people who already cleared most of rounds will be preferred when freeze opens ?
Please guide me as I've put all my Hopes on this role.

Interesting question!!! Approximately 89k. Bachelors and in process MBA. Fairly certain I probably would still be where I am today without the degrees.
PI2, where did you get your MBA?
Tbh I've seen folks here have MBAs from some questionable schools and still make a good living on the sales side. Corporate side is different though
Education helped me a ton.
Salary with just BS in math - 50K 2006
Salary right before MS in math - 55K 2011
Salary in firsr post MS job - 75k 2011
Salary pre-MBA was up to 88K 2015
Salary in first post mba job was 125K 2015
Salary now in 2023 is 258K
😳
I’d say a degree matters because most employers today require it despite YOE. Base $140k and 20% variable bonus - could be up to 40%. I have an MBA.
Senior Property Adjuster making about 100k with a Masters plus bonuses.
How long did it take you to get to $100k?
I graduated high school but didn't complete college because life and money got in the way. It puts me in the "Some College" category.
I can say I easily make more than my peers and way more than the career field was going to college for.
How much do u make?
Bachelors making 53k starting salary, 58k after bonus
Work experience is as impressive as a degree, but only 1 may keep you from getting the job, If you don’t have it (unless it’s entry level). Degrees are nice, but experience is more valuable in my opinion.

Bachelors degree - $200k all in
My salary is below my Education and Experience. 89K, Masters, 10 years of experience. Prior to was 67k. Not seeing the salary bump I’m worth yet but also need to be better in negotiations.
$65k, Bachelors, straight out of college
I think it depends on your role. I make $100K as an account manager (non-sales) with a Bachelor’s degree. When I came into the industry in 2005 I was about $40K working in claims.
I have a HS diploma and I’m working towards a bachelors. I’m at $51k. I started out a a lower place in the company and have been promoted.
I have an MBA and I make 78k. I always dreamed I would make more
Bachelor in Information Systems and Operations Management… same area I work in 14 years later. My pay was $55k out of school and is now $135k. I’m obviously not in the same role and have moved several times. Still love it.
No degree 65k as ops manager
Now no degree 75k ops analyst.
~$215k with an mba
485k bachelors degree, 23 years exp
140k, no degree

Started my MBA in 2018 at around $70k + 10% bonus. Just graduated and am now at $150k + 35% bonus + $25k equity. I also switched jobs and companies a couple times but I'm sure the MBA helped.
75k. No degree.
Hey. I saw a study that said if you make somewhere I the $1.50 an hour range more then it is worth it. It also helps you get your foot in the door if other people apply have it and you don’t do sometimes it’s about having the standard instead of something that separates you.
