I got turned down for three mid level design positions. I don’t know if it’s because my last position was as an art director and they’re just confused or if I seem not as enthusiastic about the role as I should be but it’s definitely disheartening because I’m unemployed and I need to get back to work. I have since decided to focus more on senior designer and Art Director roles at a higher rate and will go from there.

Hireright called me & asked me for the name of my medication, name of pharmacy & their phone number. Scenario: baby coming in January and have an offer to lateral. Current firm gives 12 weeks of parental leave. New firm wants decision by next week. Would like to give a few weeks notice to current firm about leaving but need the entire parental leave.
