Unfortunately, Many are getting impacted by today's layoffs across the organisations and it is super hard to cope up mentally and financially. I came across few openings related to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) consultants, experience ranging 4-12 Yrs. Please reach out to Teja Chandrashekar (teja@vdigitise.com), Phone: 7672030466. Hope this can help some of you to get back onto the feet. Kindly like, comment or share for better reach. Thanks much!! #experience #share #help #consultants
Good jobs for introverts? So over consulting.

I made this transition, and eventually went back to UX Design. I was tired of having good UX design curtailed or rejected by Product Management (and Dev Leads) and wanted to be the one making those strategic decisions. In the end, I realized that PMs are under constant pressure to justify the business need and make compromises. I ended up spending all our resources on resolving technical debt, and even as a former UX Designer, I couldn't justify a lot of UX improvements.
But if you want to make the transition...
- Talk to the Director or VP of Product about making the transition at your current company. It will be much easier to make the move within the same company where you have history than get hired somewhere new without any experience.
- Work on your soft skills and your salemanship. A lot of PMing related to interacting - with leadership, with customers - and selling. You will be selling new initiatives to leadership when you are looking for investment. You will be talking to customers about upcoming and new features. Etc. the best, and most successful, PMs have very good soft skills.
- Become an expert on the product and the domain. What are the capabilities of your product? What are the shortfalls? Who are your competitors and how does your product stack up? Who are your customers? Etc. The more knowedgable you are the better.
Sorry, I saw "Product".
Personally, I find Product Design and UX Design to be interchangeable, especially once you get to the Senior or Principal levels. Not sure there is anything to transition.
I have held both roles. It’s the same
Hmmm… what do you perceive as the difference?
Previously you were a ‘product designer’ overseeing multiple verticals of UX on one product, now it seems that ‘product designer’ is a UI designer. I seriously don’t get what anyone means anymore.
This article explains it https://www.interaction-design.org/literature/article/the-ultimate-guide-to-understanding-ux-roles-and-which-one-you-should-go-for
Its all the same.
