I’m an HR Mgr, and need help approaching my HRC about her demeanor at work. She lost her father last fall, and since returning to work, she’s become incredibly delicate. Often cries at work, staff are hesitant to approach her; it’s like walking on eggshells constantly with her. She does her job well, she takes directions well, but there is no real initiative with projects/tasks and I NEED a strong no.2 - I feel like I’m constantly coaching her and trying to support her, but I’m tired 😣
From personal experience any number was a shock to the system but I think 1800 is reasonable. Watch out at smaller firms whether pro bono etc can count towards that number.
I did this and I don't recommend it. My firm required 1800. It's not just the hours it's the constant anxiety about meeting hours due to factors out of your control - usually distribution of work is up to partners. I stayed a short time and moved back to government.
Yup!
