Hi Deloitte fishes,
I received my pre-hire survey Oct 21(Fri) but my bank KYC is not verified yet. I just submitted my bank KYC in EPFO portal. Now my query is do I need to wait till my KYC is verified in EPF portal? Or can I submit the survey with attaching a note: As Submitted KYC and pending verification.
P. S: As there are Diwali holidays,I am worry about my KYC verification will get delayed. And could anyone tell within how manys days or any deadline to submit the Pre-hire Survey.
I have just been told by my POC that the hiring for chat is on hold and they are not certain when they will start the hiring for chat. I gave the interview for chat last month and I was told that I have cleared all the rounds and my joining will be from the next month (July) but now all of a sudden they are saying this.
I am scared and don't know what should I do.
Does anyone know when they will start the hiring for chat?BT British Telecom

I would start responding to recruiters from corporations and firms to see what you’re skill set is worth and take the introductory calls. Go from there and see if you want to get a raise when you leave.
Thanks! I definitely want a raise but also don’t want to give up a good opportunity. Part of me thinks it’s just my firm feeding me kool aid though. 🤷🏻♂️
Financial services tax should have openings at a lot of firms, since fs is still growing. (I'm in audit in fs at my firm and believe tax is growing like crazy as well, and we're doing full remote onboarding for now.) Apply for other jobs, know your worth, and consider leaving if it's the right choice. At minimum, try to find out how long it would take to make partner at your firm before deciding if its worth it to stay at your firm. Also, there's currently no one between you and partner.... But they can easily have an outside hire as sm or partner of you were just promoted to manager. Try to make an informed choice rather than staying based on certain assumptions.
I'll be honest, if I was working a job I really liked and was living sustainably/comfortably, I would live with being underpaid until post pandemic.
It's never a bad thing to keep eyes and ears open!! Maybe you can find something else then tell your senior mgr/ptrs that you love the firm and would be willing to stay if the met you at your worth!
