The new company I’m at now sent me an email from an email address that was HR@companyName.careers saying I was accepted for the position. They gave me paperwork to fill out and sign to accept the position
I fill out the paperwork and send it back to them and it goes through… then a few days later I go back to the email to say something else and I get this…?
Then today I got a check from the company In the mail to setup my home office, and it’s signed by someone I’ve never met before or heard of…?

Forcing me to use my standing desk

Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!

Anyone hiring junior ADs or teams?
Hi I’m a current Graduate student, hoping to get my foot in the door for Deloitte Healthcare Consulting, Accenture CDP, or EY specifically within Chicago Offices. Is there anyone open to connecting and speaking on their experience being hired? I have previous experience working prior to my degree so hoping to get insight on how I can best score an interview. If you’re also open to providing a referral that would be a bonus!

Ultrawide 34"
One 27" usually wont be enough.
Between the 2, I'd still pick the 2 smaller screens
I have two 27. It’s too big. I’d prefer two smaller monitors
I changed from triple 24" to double 27" to single 49"
MBP 16”, 29” UW, iPad Pro using Side Car
MBP gets Teams, IPad gets Outlook, monitor is whatever I’m actually doing
Basically same setup except 15” MBP and 27” 4K monitor. iPad Pro with sidecar works great.
Up to 3 monitors right right. Hoping to get up to 6 by end of next year.
I grant myself this one instance of totally unnecessary and illogical stroke of ego.
Very hard to imagine anyone at EY needing anything close to this lol
Two 23” monitors plus my laptop in a docking station
Dual 24” seems pretty perfect for office purposes. You can easily snap two Windows into large (but not absurd) sizes
I legit only use my laptop screen. Is that insane?
I used to rock the double monitors and could only live with that in the office. But that was more when I was marking up a lot of documents that involve a lot of “comparisons” which I don’t really have to do anymore. I find these days I only need my one monitor to fit everything I’m working on

Get a 4k 40-47 (make sure it's 4k, equivalent to 4 full HD monitors) inch TV. I got one for £250. Better than my previous setup which was 2x 1080p 24" for almost the same price. Only that colours and response time won't be as good so if you do graphic/web design or gaming, you may want something better calibrated but for office work it's not noticeable.
One large monitor is usually easier to work on than two smaller ones. Plus, it gives you more space to work on programs that typical are screen hogs, like video editing or photo editing apps.
i prefer a usb-c 27’ monitor. I am very keen on clean wire setup.
2 monitors work could use three but not necessary.
3 monitors
All 27, one vertical

I’ve got a 34” widescreen and it’s quite nice.
I have one monitor and a stand to use the laptop as #2. Whatever allows you to have more than one screen to work with.

Dual 24" 1080p monitors should be good enough. If you're using a laptop, you can utilize the laptop screen as a third one.
I use a 4K 65” TV
At least 2 monitors so when sharing on meeting you have another for note taking and/or backchannel chats.
I have four 27” screens 🤷🏼♂️
I’d always go for dual monitors over a single one if that was the choice.
