Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

Depends on the size of client or business he or she will be responsible for. Not uncommon to start in the high 400s and upward of a million.
City?
Yeah this assumption of range is way wrong. Global CCO at a major holding company shop is not within $5k of CCO at some mid-sized Indy shop. You need to think more in terms of the scale of responsibility, scale of Billings, location, client base, etc.
your general range is somewhere in the low sixes to eight figures.

I’m gonna say base $250k in Boise (and you double as head of account management and are likely to be owner)-$1mm in Manhattan.
You really do have to get more specific about geo, client, number of clients and billings to be more accurate. Private or public too.
