For the 6th years who just started year 7, market bonus was 105k plus 25k special = 130k. Hope that helps.

like

No that’s not correct. A 2019 year graduate who just finished their sixth year, the total market bonus as I said is 130k for this year bc we had the special 25k bonus this year. Once you finish year 7 as a 2019 graduate, the bonus as of now is $115k to the extent the market doesn’t increase it or pay another special bonus.

If seems like you’re asking how much the bonus is for someone who finished 5th year which is 90 plus 25. As sixth year it’s 105k as of now, no special bonuses guaranteed for end of this year.

I can’t see any of the comments with the links that people seem to be posting, but if it’s the big law salary scale then it’s combined for bonus and special bonus and that’s not helpful for my question .. see screenshot

Hi all! Is anyone here in Underwriting? Just want some thoughts on this as i’ve recently gotten an offer for an Underwriting Associate position and have never done any salary negotiations before. Does it seem unrealistic for my counter offer to be 12k more than the original offer? Considering that the original offer is roughly 8k less than the market salary. Plus i’m also accounting for wiggle room as i’m not expecting them to actually agree with the full 12k counter offer
