What's missing? I have an MBA & 20+ years of experience in IT in everything from requirements gathering, coding, PM, PO to QA, primarily in banking, investments, and tax accounting software. I really feel "topped out", and want to transition to "Product Manager" role in Fintech. I'm not getting nearly as much interest as I expected. Would love to find a smaller company, or fintech/payments/lending/funding startup to work with. Any suggestions?

AWS vs Cloudflare BDR roles

AWS lowballed but I negotiated to match Cloudflare. Cloudflare offers more equity but AWS has a higher base.

I love Cloudflare. The people are great but it’s an engineering culture and the sales team isn’t as well shaped up and I can’t go for a promotion until at least 18 months of tenure. I am an investor in the company and think of them super highly. I’ve already got half a years SDR experience and AWS promotes quicker.

AWS has prestige but is it worth it?

1. Zomato : Product Analyst , 21 LPA all fixed

2. Meesho: Snr. Business Analyst, 20 Fixed + 12 Esops (3yrs vesting)

3. Uber: Manager (L3) - In process (mostly they'll match to retain)

4. Google: Product Analyst - In process (I'm confident I'll have something but process would last longer, and I have will have to take a call on above 3)

Firm wants me to back pay last year FICA tax(Social Security and Medicare tax).
Last year I started working as F-1 and transition to H1b. Firm never withheld FICA tax.

Now they ask me to back pay last year FICA tax and then will send me W2c form.

The catch is I already file my tax without those FICA tax. Should I pay them and file tax amendment?

I have initiated ideas for new products to align with company strategy and goals, designed and managed the development of the products, and enabled delivery of product to the market. So I recently interviewed for an associate PM role with my current company. I’ve been a store manager with them for 11 years. During the interviews, I felt like things were growing great and the feedback I got at the end was great. You’d think given my time knowing the product/ company for so long, that I’d be a great fit but I got rejected and haven’t gotten feedback probably will get ghosted. Should I shoot my shot and advocate for myself with the hiring manager either way?
