What's missing? I have an MBA & 20+ years of experience in IT in everything from requirements gathering, coding, PM, PO to QA, primarily in banking, investments, and tax accounting software. I really feel "topped out", and want to transition to "Product Manager" role in Fintech. I'm not getting nearly as much interest as I expected. Would love to find a smaller company, or fintech/payments/lending/funding startup to work with. Any suggestions?

Just a function of this current job market unfortunately. Stick with it, you clearly have the experience.

How do you deal w/ coworkers who turn on you. Use to be close (me, T and H), then this young naive know it all (A) comes in who just has it out for me and kills the vibe. Destroys the team. Now T, who use to bad mouth A talks to her all day long and they always message right after I say anything, T H and A have a chat call positivism that doesn’t include me, they barely talk to me now. T asked me what I’d do if I was never making manager then said she knows a lot of info, but refuses to say more

I am a BA who is currently interviewing for an Associate PM role . I am on the second round of interviews but not sure what I should prepare . Would appreciate any advice . Also I came across a platform named “Exponent” that has a PM interview course , has anyone used it before ?

Interested in the PM field, but I don't know enough/anything yet. What exactly is product management anyway, in a nutshell?

Digital Consultant to Tech Company (e.g. FAANG PM, Palantir Deployment, Databricks Solution Architect). What would you use to determine your total comp package?

At the moment, I just take the average TC i'd expect over the next 3 years at my consulting firm (EM levels)

I recently interviewed at a fast growing pre-IPO company for a Strategic PM role and I was sold that the comp should be around $180-200k plus RSU which should be about $300k annualized TC if all goes well. I have 14 years YOE in tech, but this would be my first intro to PM roles. How much signing bonus is reasonable to ask for if I am giving up on equity and quarterly commission pay to leave my current company?

How do you get into Product? I want to be a product analyst but I can’t find anyone that’s looking for an entry level PA. I have 1.5 YOE as a strategic planner and 5 months as a BA, even have a CSM.

I know the framework, but every place seems to want you to have the experience but don’t want it to be on their dime. Are there better companies or industries to get started?

Starting to get really worried about my job stability right now. I'm an associate product manager with just a little over 1YOE. Been looking at jobs at startups and I don't even qualify for their APM jobs. I want to stay in product but the job market is terrifying right now. Any advice?

Anyone in here use an MBA to pivot into Product Management? If so, did you intern at big tech?
