Is it worth taking up an offer at PwC as a Manager for the same salary I am currently making in my public sector industry job ? The hiring manager at PwC has assured of a promotion to SM in the immediate future.
When I moved in-house a year ago as a BigLaw mid-level, I took a 45% pay cut, far more than I was comfortable with (although I was fine with a 20-30% cut). I took the job because it was a great role and I was focused on making the jump in house and developing the skills I wanted, which required me moving away from my firm practice area. Now that my year-end review is coming up, how do I ask my company for a significant pay raise (not just a 2-5% inflation-matching raise)?
I am going to get a promotion next year and I have to chose between managing a person or picking 10 accounts in the healthcare sector to grow. In both cases I will have a target of 3-4 Million Usd. I do Healthcare consulting based in Singapore. Any views or suggestions based on experience?
Hi fishes I'm being constantly denied opportunities to grow and being targeted by a female manager for a rating discussion which happened a year ago . She is literally dropping allegations over me in managers meets which are false and some how my coach is also with her. My current year performance is well, with highest quality yet I'm not being considered for promotion.I'm seriously trying to look out but not getting any calls, what options do I have, can I raise this to intigrity helpline ??
Do the increased fees to clients and lower commissions to wholesalers raise any alarm to those invested in PIMCO Income (PONAX)?
I want to see a company newsletter where 3-5 account people didn't get a promotion to some obscure title. "Jenny is now a senior associate account executive manager"
For Accenture tech consulting, how typical is it to go from analyst to senior analyst after one year? What's the usual timeline for promotion and chargeability?
How much do Accenture first year consultants make? Assume a 2 YOE out of undergrad. Would you stay at KPMG or leave for Accenture if Accenture was giving close to a 30% raise?

Attended 5 rounds-- 1 coding, 2 technical, 1 managerial, 1 hr. Now after 2 months telling me I'm the selected one, but offering me just 20% hike and same grade Any chance for negotiations? Any tips or guidance are appreciated. please help

Anyone has experience when Hiyamee recruiting service? I got a call for an interview panelist and Rs. 500/ candidate. Interview duration of 40min. Do they pay the interview panelists or is it waste of time. I saw couple of reviews on Google, where they say they have not yet done the payment. Any experience, anyone?

What works in negotiating sign on bonuses with KPMG for M1 and how is this negotiated? Is the sign on bonus just included in the initial offer as a standard and then you negotiate up from there or is it something that you’ve asked for prior to the interview/offer? What do they use to determine your sign on amount? Are they under the impression you are interviewing with multiple competitors or do you throw out a base and sign on bonus amount during preliminary discussions?

Lateraled to a new firm ~2 months ago and have a planned vacation coming up in 1 month (this was planned way before the move, even before I had considered interviewing). Recruiting and the head of my practice group gave me the OK on the vacation before I joined, but I’m still stressed about telling people I’m about to go on vacation as a new joiner to the firm. Words of advice/good vibes/etc., all greatly appreciated.
Confession - I don't want to go back to office. I'm happy working from home and find no solid reason in stepping back. I hope the flexi work culture allows permanent WFH - I don't have a "good enough" reason, but I don't want to go (isn't this good enough?) It's been 1.5 years now, too comfortable to step out from my PJs to jeans.
Hi everyone 👋 This is regarding one of the interviews with company B. I was through all the rounds and HR discussion is still on going. Recruiter: What are your salary expectations? Me: Well, it depends on bonus, equity, and other factors, but I'd say I'm looking for base around x. R: Oh, we can definitely do that. SON OF A...

Despite getting Masters in Strategic Communication last December & putting to good use, there's no promotion in sight. I'm seeking remote because I just bought a house & can't switch cities atm.
