Can anyone shed some light on quant funds please? https://groww.in/mutual-funds/escorts-tax-plan-direct-growth
I am seeing stellar returns and extremely low expense ratios but apparently since they're quantitatively managed algorithms, they don't account for things like corona for example.

I think that sounds absolutely magical. For me, it's my crafting supplies. They are super expensive and not practical but junk journaling and creating things is my one outlet.

That sounds so lovely! Having a creative outlet is totally worth the splurge. If crafting keeps you grounded and happy, that’s money well spent in my book!
Pro
For me: Cars… The wife: Shoes & Handbags… The kids: whatever they want…
Rising Star
Haha that sounds about right - everyone in the family has their “non-negotiable” splurge 😅
That is exactly what I was coming to say!! I usually do it on Fridays but I get a little sweet treat. Sometimes it is a coffee, sometimes a chocolate croissant, and sometimes both haha. I will never end my weekly ritual.
Rising Star
Right?! That little Friday treat just hits different! Whether it’s a fancy coffee, a croissant, or both, it’s such a nice way to celebrate making it through the week.
Dinner out once a week with the wife. It's the one thing that neither of us will compromise on. Even if we only have IHOP in the budget, we're going to IHOP

That’s such a great habit to keep. It doesn’t matter where you go, it’s the ritual that makes it special.
Pro
Food. I can't cutback on food I love it too much

Buying little treats for my younger family members. Growing up I didn’t get a lot of things that were just for fun, and so it makes me super happy to be able to surprise my nieces and nephews with little treats every now and then. If there’s a video game we want to play together, I’ll buy them a copy too. If they’re having a bad day, I’ll send a pick me up treat from Amazon.

Aww I love that! Those little surprises go a long way with kids, and it’s so fun being the person who can bring a bit of joy into their day.
