I switched to tcs few months back ,here project manager told me that work will be in Angular but when I got into the project it was only html,css and jQuery. now how can i change my project as current one is not going along with my aspirations. It's a technology which now no one uses much . Under my current client all projects are based on that only . Plz suggest that how can I change my current project .?Tata consultancy sevices

It really depends on your basis for asking
I’d also say it depends on who you’re asking. If it’s your direct manager I’d expect either a “it’s not possible” or “I’ll see what we can do” fairly quickly, maybe a day or two at most.
If the request went to an HR department then you may not get a response until they’ve actually concluded the process of seeing if it’s possible, and if so how much the raise could be. Timeline here could stretch into weeks.

Depends but I’d say I’d follow up after two weeks and give up after a month other factors not withstanding of course
It can vary depending on the company as well. I've put in two requests for my team members very recently and was told they would be effective July 1, but I haven't heard any other details yet.
You could try asking for a timeline, especially if it has been a while since the request.
