Hi All. I moved to a new company , I just got my take home salary and my current pay is less that previous pay ,because of different state and other taxes. My new company is better but the pay is demotivating me . It is almost $500 less per biweekly pay check . What to do get out of the demotivation? Generalist skillet is valuable as versatility opens doors early on.

Specialization is discouraged early on but is expected to move up the rank

Building depth and brand come with unforgiving travel.

Network matters, and sometimes it matters more than skillset

Unbelievable growth, if you are willing to work for it.

Leadership and people management skills are non negotiable

Kool aid is strong and can make it hard to leave.
