I have a weird question
I have given interviews in JPMorgan Chase for developer role and got the offer which is gud but interviews were not as tough as one might have expected from a reputed firm like jpmc.
Had 1 tech,1 tech-Manager round , Hire view test which was quite easy and an hr round.
Am a little worried about the standard of project and the team. I have offer from CIB Payments team. Checked with hiring manager and he said d role is for developer. Just worried abt quality of work
Any thoughts on this book?

To give a bit of perspective, I work as a designer and I have about 10 years of experience. I saw and received offers to work in London equal or even lower to the one I had previously in Cambridge, so I felt I was in a winning situation with this 65k offer, but if I think about there were friends/colleagues making 65k in Cambridge already (Cambridge is not that cheaper than London, but it's nicer for the kind of person I am).
Income depends on sector and role. London is very expensive though - a lot of people struggle through but very hard to save, even for people in relatively well paid roles.
Expect to spend at least £2000 if you live in central London (zone 1-2); closer to £2500-3000 if in nicer areas in Central London.
Hey, this question is easier to answer when you share the industry/role you’re considering. In tech and finance it’s achievable
Do you mind telling me what do you do and years of experience?
I live in London and have 4 years in .net development, and my salary is 50k gonna bump it to 60k but struggling to find jobs over 60k in London.
Yes, I'm 33 almost 34 (I think, at least in my home country, age is important because nobody consider you seriously until you are 30, in the UK is certainly different because people start to work earlier and for example in my ex job people aged 25-26 who worked for a few years in the company were already senior) and I'm Motion Designer so I create 2d and 3d animations.
Developers are normally paid a lot, I think that you are doing good if you have been working for 4 years, you are presumably young and by the time you'll be 30 you'll probably be easily over 60k.
Lots of people are earning under 100k in london and doing well. It is expensive to rent but there are lots of areas outside of zone 1/2 which are easy to commute to the centre of needed.
