Most of the managers treat the employees serving NP as their enemy and there are high chances of argument with them. Any thoughts on what worst they can do with employee who is serving NP but have good track record previously.

I think that would vary across firms. Big 4 prob paying more than mid size and smaller firms. Can expect anywhere from mid 80s to 110k+ depending on where you land

mid to high 80s in Deloitte for core tax. I'm shocked you were only offered 90 as external hire
External hires usually get 20+ percent premium to lure them over
PwC specialty tax, entered with 97k as an S1 a few months ago and now as an S2 my salary was "adjusted to market rate" recently to about 108k.
I know Seattle S2s in GCR are in the high 80k’s. I would expect in NYC - you’d want to gross that up by 10% to capture state/local tax + another $5k-$10k for general COL. That would land you somewhere between $100k-$110k.
