Hello Folks from TCS, I need your help, My visa process for Germany is already going on and it shall be completed by ending Feb or early march. I am now having an offer from IBM and I want to use this offer to further cement my onsite position
Should I resign and then talk with management or directly have a discussion stating that I have an offer and When can my travel request be raised post visa stamping

Any success stories with EB5? Who did you use? How were the investment terms? Been on H1b 9 years now and no end in sight with eb2 wait. Concerned with risk of outright fraud not 500k investment amnt.

For those in big 4, how much time between accepting an offer and start date have you been able to ask for? Is a month feasible/how should one phrase it? Two weeks just doesn’t feel like enough with this heavy burnout/having to wrap up deals at old firm

How does Visa bonuses work? Does everyone with an average strong rating automatically get the target 8, 10, or 12%, etc. bonus? Do they get more or less for other reasons?

Is there a way to work part time or close to 40 hours a week average with big 4 in advisory? I don’t really care how much I get paid and just want some WLB and health insurance lol.

Just heard my H1B petition was approved. Visa will be valid starting Oct 1, 2021. I am also scheduled to get promoted in October (unsure of which date exactly). Hypothetically, if I get promoted from Account Coordinator to Account Manager I on Oct 5, after my H1B kicks in on Oct 1, how would this work logistically? Planning on going back to home country and also getting the visa issuance in Dec. Similar experience, anyone? Appreciate your input.
