Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?
That tesla model 3 tho!. Cot Damn.😍

My take is that people get stuck in the consultant track because of imaginary expectations that do apply to the real world.....once listed to a 20 something tell me that if he didn't get his next promotion he would "pick up" an executive position in industry and "easily" pull in $250k because of his breadth of experience. I'm sure employers were lined up around the block.
Booz 1 highlights an important oxymoron - The dumb MC Exit Strategy 1.) negotiate rise and better package with new MC firm 2.) exit expecting better prospects 3.) join FB in frustration with MC life 4.) ask MCs on FB for good exit strategies 5.) Reconcile yourself that nobody has any smart exit strategies
The difficulty collecting lessons learned for this question is that people with proven successful exit strategies are nowhere to be found! 👥
can't you find a job you like?
Yep
LolA1. Yes a lot of people with crazy high expectations. OP- check your expectations but keep at it. Network , network network
Universal Smart MC Exit Strategy 1.) Arrive on new client site 2.) deliver your best work 3.) get recognized 4.) get an offer 5.) Exit or repeat.
