What's your favorite thing about your current job? Mine is definitely still being able to work from home. It gives me so much more freedom.

This is sad. You went to engineering school (or you say you did). For 4 years, got a degree and a job. And the best part about it is that you get to work from home? Do you hate being an engineer that much? Do you hate other people that much?

funny

I love the size and complexity of the projects I’m on

Working from home has been a major perk that I wasn’t even considering one of my top preferences when job hunting initially. It’s helped me in so many personal instances (like taking in a rescue dog) and given me so much flexibility with my schedule. I honestly can’t imagine going back now.

So, the CDC removed the Covid guidelines. I’ve never had Covid. I’m afraid people will come into work not wearing a mask and be inconsiderate… ughhh so distracting and disgusting. I’m also at risk to develop complications. Not sure if I should talk to HR. Not even sure if I should ask for accommodations to continue being able to wfh at least most days of the week to reduce risk. Idkkkk 😩This is so unprecedented. I always wear my mask at work. I’m getting pressured to attend firm events as well

How difficult is it to juggle a remote role with a hybrid role?

My current role is hybrid with at least two days a week in office. However, with the potential economic downturn, I'm considering holding on to the role to supplement my income.

I'm new to the overemployed movement, so I'm evaluating the feasibility of holding onto the hybrid role and the remote position.
