When are your new hire start dates for tax associates? I heard we are moving to June and January. If I could go back in time, I’d have taken January so I could sit for the cpa exam before working

Why would you give up your last 6 months of freedom until retirement? My last summer was the best couple months of my life I wouldn’t have traded it for 20k

You’d give up 6 months of decent wages to study? Why not do a fast track or study during your last semester (for states that allow you to sit early)? That doesn’t seem like a sound financial decision. The CPA really isn’t that hard...

Hi everyone, applied for an investment consulting internship few weeks back.
It's a client facing job, but it might come at a later stage of a job, maybe after finishing my internship and getting a job offer.
I'm interested to know what is the must develop skills, must take courses or must read books to get insight, develop the required knowledge and skills for the position. I majored in business management finance and currently preparing for CFA level 1. Thanks in advance ☺️

I keep hearing that Booth’s MBA program is rigorous (maybe the most rigorous out of M7). That said, how much more work are students expected to do compared to HBS, Wharton, Kellogg, etc.? I don’t know if this is an outdated opinion, considering a lot of MBAs are very demanding. Booth is personally my top choice for having a flexible curriculum & 2-3 days of classes. But I really want to know what to expect around the “rigorous” label. Does it mean I’ll be buried in coursework the other 2-3 days?

I need advice. I moved into product management under a year ago to an early stage startup. The first few months went well, but the last 5 have been chaotic. It feels like we’re becoming more sales led, there are too many pivots (I expected some) our roadmap is becoming influenced by sales/ceo. Essentially, we’re trying to do much. It’s happening so much I’m starting to lose confidence in the company/strategy. It’s also causing me anxiety…

I think the 49ers will ease Kittle back from his injury and have him primarily block against the Arizona defense.

However, Miami may primarily run the ball due to the game script vs. Houston.
