I’m not consistent enough to give a good answer, but when I do get into a groove, I’ll usually go to the gym 2x during the week at night (either right after work if partner can do pickup or after kids go to bed) and then 1x on the weekend.
Having said that, I haven’t worked out in 3 months. So IDK 🤷♀️
On weekends. I’ve tried working out during the work week but it’s impossible with a baby who wakes at 6 am. Maybe not impossible, but I don’t want it enough to wake at 5 am. Seriously could never have imagined a life without fitness before baby
SR1: very competent, like able to care for his own children? Imagine. 🙄
Hah
What is, "work out"? Not familiar with the concept.
Every September.
Drop my kids off at school/daycare at 7:45-8 and workout before work.
10. 9:45-10. Leave at 6.
Saturdays
Michelle Obama said she worked out at 5am... so there’s that? 👍🏼
I never could find more than 10 minutes in my day, which isn't enough to work out. I live in NYC area though, so I got an accidental solution. I joined citibike to speed up my commute when we moved into a bigger place further from the train. 6-7 minutes of riding, 7 minutes standing on the train, 12 minutes power walking to work. I lost 43 pounds over 2 years. Best passive fitness plan, I was just trying to save time and I ended up getting fit as well.
45 minute barre class during lunch 2-3 x per week. 1 block from my work. I have to block that hour on my schedule so no one schedules me for a meeting!
Can I join?! I Love barre!
before work but hubby is a stay at home dad and didn’t until my youngest was 3!
7 pm class 2 nights plus one on a weekend afternoon.
Saturday with walks during the week - one or two lunches. It’s not enough but it’s not nothing
I bought a peloton thinking it would help way more, however I average using it once a week (mostly on weekends). I have a toddler and baby, so sleep schedules aren’t the best and that makes getting up before work hard. Wish I did that more though
I was thinking about trying twice or three times a week at night if the partner stays with the baby. But I’ll have to accept the house getting messier, which drives me insane. We can’t have everything, can we? 🤷♀️
Between 515-645 am😫
On Sundays.
Last time I worked out was 2015 before having 2 kids
I try to spin in the morning whenever I can and am not completely exhausted. 6-6:45 am
At lunch on most weekdays (gym in building) for cardio. I take a “late lunch” when meetings are scheduled over lunch. Blocking it out on the calendar as a busy/meeting time helps. Then i do strength/flexibility work after kids go to bed (10pm). I can not keep my brain functioning properly if I skip exercise, so this is not a luxury for me.
