You mentioned you’re not making as much as you did two years ago, but are you currently still making enough to live fairly comfortably? If you’re struggling to pay bills or buy food it makes sense you’re having trouble relaxing and feel pressure. But it’s a common mindset to always hustle, make $X amount but then when you get there you decide you won’t REALLY be happy until you make $X amount more, etc etc. If you’re able to pay your bills, afford food, and do things you enjoy don’t put so much pressure on yourself for always more!

Thank you for your answer and perspective. I’m making about 15% less, which is not that much in the big scheme of things. With inflation it perhaps feels a bit more painful but not to the extreme of not being able to pay bills or live fairly comfortably. It’s easy to loose perspective when one is focusing on the negative instead if looking at the whole picture.
