I iron... like some kind of animal.
Be careful of the irons in a hotel. They aren’t always consistent with heat and they can often be dirty or leave stains/debris on your clothes
Always always test it on the board first.
If it’s not too bad, turn the shower all the way on hot and let it steam it. Also invest in some shirt stays
Yup this is what I do because I ain't about to drop $20 a week on drying cleaning
Dry cleaned shirts... I use the hotel irons only as a last resort
Neither. I leave my clothes and get them dry cleaned in the client city. No wrinkles and no additional work.
I used to tend to book the same hotel for the duration of the engagement so I would just bring enough shirts to tide me over, store them in the hotel during weekends and over the week use a dry cleaner in the client city. Minimum hassles. Generally, once I had enough knowledge about the situation I would bring a check in bag along stuffed with shirts, suits, underwear and shoes and leave the bag with the hotel on weekends. Take care of underwear and socks at the hotel laundry and give the shirt(or suit pants if required) to a local cleaner. Status ensured I didn't pay anything for check in.
I always iron. I enjoy it.
I bring a travel steamer and steam everything before I wear it. I also purchase most of my work clothes in a fabric that doesn't wrinkle much.
Buy non-iron shirts and learn to fold them well. Charles Tyrwhitt do a great range. Once you’ve had them on for about 20 min, all creases will be gone.
Laundry service from cleaners then boxed and folded like ol don draper
Shower steam OR use hotel iron.
Are you kidding me? You’d rather spend 15 minutes ironing than pay someone $2.50 to do a much better job? Nuts
It takes me 5 min to iron a shirt and it's not about saving money. I don't deal with dry cleaners or hotel losing my things.
