Kid will be fine though. Just try to make sure the AC vent is blowing directly on the kid
We are not living in the 1900s; we have meds now. Kids has a fever you give them meds to break the fever. On a separate note, if outside temp is lower than your desired in-house comfort temp and if you have a good cross circulation, then I’d open the windows to save $$
How is the inside temp so much higher? Open the windows
Unless your kid is super young, give them children's Tylenol. The AC sounds like a badly thought through solution.
