I work remotely, and I am willing to pay a premium for quality pants that make a good impression for my limited visits into the state.

What do you guys usually wear to a job interview? I’m interviewing at a start up their a monthly subscription service that delivers clues to solve a mystery. So not super corporate but? 🤔

Re naming names. Lots of people in media & publications are naming & shaming, and calling out workplace environments toxic for people of color. I went through some shit at my prior workplace and after a lot of reflection it’s become clear to me it was race based. I’m working through what actions I can take to address this - any thoughts?

Hi Fishes, I am ready to resign from my current organisation and I was wondering if I need to discuss this with my reporting manager first. I have never talked to my reporting manager , do I need to discuss with him before I resign or I should just do it in the portal directly.

Has anyone else had a mentor (assigned to them by the Company) who seemed to have it out for you? I mean downright sabotage to make you look bad left and right. I didn’t realize it at first. She was fake friendly, but she was discrete too. Some of the executives thought she was amazing, but I had to clean up her work all the time. She wasn’t above me either on the chain of command. Later I found out she had tried for the exec assistant role and they didn’t choose her, they wanted me instead.

My boss asked me to take care of some of the details of a project for her—the stuff that isn't really my area of expertise. And now I feel like a shirker because I haven't been able to finish them yet.

Hello all, I am a production manager for a sign design and manufacturing company. I have been with the company for six years now starting as lead graphic designer working my way to the production manager. since becoming the production manager two years ago I am responsible for 4 large format printers and 1 vinyl plotter. Currently sitting in my sweatpants with a full groutfit. Rediscovered a pair of blue sweatpants that I left at my parent’s place during the holidays and brought that back.
